WaterGrip® Adhesive is a water-based, pressure-sensitive adhesive used to bond a wide range of waterproofing materials. The ultra-low VOC, non-flammable formula makes it the perfect solution for environmentally friendly applications. Its low viscosity allows it to be rolled or sprayed on.

GluDown® WaterGrip Adhesive provides long open time and aggressive tack for bonding a wide variety of waterproofing materials.

Application

  • Prepare application surfaces by removing all debris.
  • Apply product using clean roller to one surface.
  • 9 to 11 mils thickness is required for proper coverage.
  • Adhesive is ready when color changes from white to clear.
    • Approximately 30 – 60 minutes from application
    • Over-application, temperature, and humidity can lengthen adhesive ready time.
  • Bond substrates using firm and steady pressure.

Clean-up

  • Remove excess adhesive while wet by using a rag and water if necessary.
  • If adhesive is dry, use a cleaning solvent like Acetone or Xylene to aid in removal.

Storage

  • Store product at 60 to 80°F for maximum storage life. Higher and lower temperatures can affect adhesive’s performance.
  • Keep containers closed when not in use.
  • Shelf life: 6 months
  • Rotate stock using oldest product first.
  • Do not allow container to freeze.

PRODUCT. GluDown, Inc. shall not otherwise be liable for loss or damages, whether direct, indirect, special, incidental, or consequential, regardless of the legal theory asserted, including, but not limited to, contract, negligence, warranty, or strict liability.
