Foam Board Adhesive
Attaching foam board with fasteners can create headaches in the field and increase the possibility of costly repairs and rework. GluDown’s Foam Board Adhesive allows for quick and easy installation, without risk of damaging the polystyrene foam (XPS and EPS). Its aggressive tack and industrial strength securely bonds Foam Board to a variety of materials including concrete, plastics, metal, and wood. GluDown’s Foam Board Adhesive is available in aerosol cans (Original and Low VOC Formulas) and canisters (Not available in California).

Overview
A high strength, fast drying, adhesive designed to bond a variety of materials including concrete, polystyrene (EPS), plastics, metal, and wood.
Web spray pattern and fast bond strength. Available in high visibility orange. Will not cavitate or pit EPS.

GluDown® Foam Board Adhesive
Application
- Prepare application surfaces by removing all oil, dirt, dust, etc.
- Shake aerosol can, not necessary for canister.
- With nozzle facing surface, spray at a distance of 8” – 10” while constantly moving the applicator to prevent build up on substrate.
- Apply adhesive to both surfaces.
- Use overlapping spray pattern on large surfaces.
- Before bonding surfaces, ensure that the adhesive is dry to the touch. Approximately 1 – 3 minutes.
- Temperature and humidity will affect open time.
- When bonding substrates, apply heavy pressure to maximize bond strength.

Clean-up
- Remove excess adhesive or overspray by using a flat edged tool or by rubbing with a wet towel.
- For large clean ups, spray unwanted adhesive with citrus cleaner, wait approximately 5 minutes, and scrape surface with flat edged tool. Repeat if necessary.
- Be careful not to spray citrus cleaner on bonded surfaces or to damage surfaces which are being cleaned.
- Always check to see if citrus cleaners or any solvents are safe for surfaces to be cleaned before applying.

Storage
- Store product at 60 to 80°F for maximum storage life. Higher and lower temperatures can affect adhesive’s performance.
- Shelf Life: 1 Year
- Rotate stock using oldest product first.

If the GluDown, Inc. product is proved to be defective, THE EXCLUSIVE REMEDY, AT GLUDOWN, INC. OPTION, SHALL BE TO REFUND THE PURCHASE PRICE OF OR TO REPAIR OR REPLACE THE DEFECTIVE GLUDOWN, INC. PRODUCT. GluDown, Inc. shall not otherwise be liable for loss or damages, whether direct, indirect, special, incidental, or consequential, regardless of the legal theory asserted, including, but not limited to, contract, negligence, warranty, or strict liability.
